OneCute — AI Video Editor  ·  Last updated: August 22, 2026

Summary: OneCute does not collect, store, or sell your personal data or your videos. All video editing happens on your device. We use Google AdMob for ads and Firebase for analytics and crash reporting — both operate under Google's privacy framework.

1. Who We Are

OneCute ("we", "our", "us") is the developer of the OneCute — AI Video Editor Android application. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at adxone4022@gmail.com.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not:

  • Upload, access, or store your videos, photos, or audio files on our servers.
  • Collect your name, email address, or account credentials.
  • Track your location.
  • Sell your data to third parties.

All video editing, AI processing (background removal, voiceover), and file export happen entirely on your device.

3. Information Collected Automatically

The app uses third-party SDKs that may collect certain non-personal data automatically:

3a. Google AdMob (Advertising)

We display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

  • Advertising ID (Android Ad ID) — a resettable, device-level identifier
  • Device type, OS version, and general location (country/region)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

AdMob uses this data to serve relevant ads. On Android 13+, the app requests the AD_ID permission; you can reset or opt out of personalised ads at any time via Settings → Google → Ads on your device.

3b. Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used (e.g., which screens are visited, how often export is used). Data collected includes:

  • App events (screen views, feature interactions)
  • Device model, OS version, language
  • Session duration and frequency

This data is aggregated and anonymised. It is not linked to your identity. Firebase Analytics Privacy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

3c. Firebase Crashlytics

We use Crashlytics to detect and fix app crashes. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics automatically sends a crash report containing:

  • Stack trace and error details
  • Device model, OS version, and available memory
  • App version

No personal data, video content, or user-generated content is included in crash reports.

4. Permissions We Request

  • READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — to access videos and photos you choose to edit. We only read files you explicitly select.
  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below) — to save exported videos to your gallery.
  • INTERNET — required for ads, Firebase Analytics, and Remote Config.
  • AD_ID — for AdMob personalised advertising (Android 13+). You can deny this permission.

5. Children's Privacy

OneCute is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Data Retention

We do not store your data on our servers. Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months by Google, after which it is automatically deleted. You can request data deletion from Google via your Google account settings.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data about you. Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, most requests should be directed to Google (for AdMob and Firebase data). For any other concerns, contact us at adxone4022@gmail.com

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
